We had our July meeting once again in person at the Red Barn in Abingdon.
OLD BUSINESS: 1) Our June meeting was on Big Brew beers. We had a lot of Janets and 2 hazy IPA’s. Our raffle brought us a profit of $111.
2) The Guild is back up and running. George B. has just attended a virtual meeting. You can check the meeting minutes here.

OLD BUSINESS: 1) Our May meeting was on Mexican Lagers.
2) The Guild is back up and running. We need volunteers to attend their meetings. They had the annual picnic last weekend but we didn’t know about it and none of us attended.
3) Next years’s May style will be IPL.
4) Gregg and Chris hosted a meeting on Flanders Reds.
We had our May meeting back in person at the Red Barn in Abingdon. It was a return to our pre-pandemic location and meeting style.
OLD BUSINESS: 1) Our April meeting was at Hopkins Farm Brewing and spouses/friends were invited.
2) Big Brew was successful; we had a toast at 1PM and seems that everyone’s brew went well.
NEW BUSINESS: 1) Janet’s Brown brewed on Big Brew is the style for June. Also in June, we’ll have the auction/drawing for Support Local.
APRIL 2021 MINUTES
We had our April meeting in person at Hopkins Farm Brewery who graciously hosted us for the third time. 3/4 of the board were stuck in Florida so Ken was on his own! Thank you Ken for managing the meeting alone!
We had our March meeting on Zoom this year with a bottle exchange. The style of the month was Scottish/Scotch Ales.
OLD BUSINESS: 1) Our February meeting was to support MD breweries and it was quite successful as we purchased a lot of beer (84 unique beers, 122 all together). We will have a unique raffle in June for those that participated and the prizes will be donated by local breweries.
2) We’ve had 2 Tech Corners since last month: one on gadgets, one showcasing the style for May, which is Mexican Lager.
